Welcome to a Former Era

When I was young, there was really only one thing that would calm me down if I were upset. It wasn’t a cuddle from my parents, nor was it a sweet from an apron pocket. It was always, and unmistakably music. If I couldn’t sleep when I was a baby, my parents would put on Elvis’ “Love me Tender” and I was out like a light. If I had fallen off my bike and scraped my knee “Orange Colored Sky” by Nat King Cole would never go amiss! This is where my long-lasting love of music has begun, and lasted ever since. And in case you are wondering…I did lock myself in the bedroom when Johnny Cash died.

So with all this in mind, and since I have been saying for ages that I was going to start a site, I decided that a little bit of vintage music would be a just about perfect subject. Not to mention that I didn’t want to just put another blog online where people are forced to read moaning about my opinion of the world, what color lipstick they should wear, or god forbid what I think of someone else’s clothing choice. So with (a lot of) help from my brilliant technical mates, here it is my Vintage Music blog! So please my friends, put on a little bit of Louis Armstrong and enjoy this former era with me!
